Nittany Valley Symphony Endowment Fund

Providing Excellent Classical Music Experiences in Our Community

Story of Fund

Nittany valley symphony logo

The Nittany Valley Symphony established this endowment fund in 2005 to provide ongoing support for their world-class productions and programming.  In addition to monthly musical productions, the symphony provides youth outreach programs such as the Annual Ann Keller Young Soloist Competition, Youth Flute Choir, and the State College Concert Percussion Academy.  For over 45 years, the Nittany Valley Symphony has produced concerts for the enjoyment of the entire community.

How Does it Help?

With Centre Foundation, our endowment is like an entire symphony, not just the presto.

This fund provides support for the operations of the Nittany Valley Symphony.  Since 1967 the Nittany Valley Symphony has been part of our community, giving opportunity for local musicians to perform music for audiences to hear and enjoy. At the heart of the symphony is a group of dedicated musicians who are from the community. They are our friends and neighbors - homemakers, business operators, physicians, professors, students, retirees, and many others whose interest in live music brought them together into a unique organization. What they have in common is the love of playing music.
