Richard and Cheryl Campbell Fund

Inspiring the future of Centre County by stewarding the mission of Centre Foundation.

Story of Fund

Fund general arts

Dick and Cheryl Campbell understand that the beauty of a community foundation is that it makes it very easy for anyone to be a philanthropist. Dick Campbell, a former foundation board member, has been active with the foundation since its inception.  His father, foundation founder Judge Paul Campbell, passed on his passion for supporting the future of Centre County to his children. Dick and Cheryl wanted to assure that future by creating this fund, which supports the operation of the foundation.

How Does it Help?

Through our fund we will perpetuate our family's long involvement with Centre County, and with the Foundation. We feel good knowing that our fund will always be here generating grants for Centre County.

Dictionary.com defines stewardship as "the responsible overseeing and protection of something considered worth caring for and preserving." This fund, and others which support the operation of Centre Foundation, provides stewardship for the future of Centre County. It allows Centre Foundation to provide greater funding and services to local charitable organizations, as well as enhance our services to the donor community.
