Rudy J. and Annamae Labor Memorial Scholarship Fund

Providing health, business, and technology education for high school graduates

Story of Fund

Labors

Rudy and Annamae Labor loved our community and believed in the importance of education. By providing scholarships to attend South Hills School of Business and Technology, they chose to support post-secondary education for graduates who want to enhance their careers in health, business or technology. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide deserving candidates the means and encouragement to accomplish career goals through a post-secondary education at South Hills.

How Does it Help?

An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.

This fund provides wonderful opportunities for career advancement for high school graduates. The fund, created through a generous estate gift by Annamae Labor, will provide scholarships for students who will be attending South Hills School of Business & Technology in State College, Altoona, or Lewistown for the upcoming school year. The fund will provide ten $7,000 scholarships to be applied toward the cost of tuition and books. Scholarship recipients will be determined by a scholarship committee.
