This fund was established to support the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, an organization which celebrates creativity with presentations of diverse, high-quality visual and performing arts.  Founded in 1966 by Penn State‚Äôs College of Arts and Architecture and the State College Chamber of Commerce, the Festival draws over 100,000 people to State College each summer for its nationally recognized Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition, gallery exhibitions, Children and Youth Day, and indoor and outdoor music, dance, and theatrical performances.

How Does it Help?

Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.

This fund supports the mission of the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts:  to celebrate the arts with presentations of diverse, high-quality visual and performing arts through the cooperative volunteer support of the community and The Pennsylvania State University. The essence of this organization is the enrichment and education of the audience, grounded in personal interaction between artist and audience.
